F.A.C. 6A-1.09550: The policy explicitly describes using personal data for "Marketing" (personalizing content and offers) and for "Training" (including AI models for product development/competitiveness), which are not authorized educational purposes for student data. FERPA: The policy's stated uses of personal data for "Marketing" (personalizing content and offers), "Training" (including AI models for product development), and sharing with "Content owners" for them to contact users are not consistent with acting as a "school official" with a "legitimate educational interest" under FERPA. PPRA: The policy explicitly states it uses personal data for "Marketing" and to "personalize content and communication (including newsletter subscriptions, direct emails, offers and website content)."
